John was born in 1951 in San Jose, California.  John is a Vietnam Veteran he moved to Lebanon, Missouri in 1979 and worked on Fort Leonard Wood until he retired in 2004. John has played bass and been singing with the Baker Band for over 10 years. John and his wife Patricia have three children and five grand children. John and his wife own and operate Midnight Acres Kennel in Lebanon, Missouri.
